The Word

The Word is the means whereby God communicates to me.
The Word is balanced by Prayer, the means whereby I communicate to God.

2Tim. 2:15. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

LITTLE FINGER – HEAR God’s Word: Romans 10:17

Roma. 10:17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

RING FINGER – READ God’s Word: Deuteronomy 17:19, Revelation 1:3

Deut. 17:19. And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:
Reve. 1:3. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

MIDDLE FINGER – STUDY God’s Word: Proverbs 2:1-6, 2 Timothy 2:15

Prov. 2:1. My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
Prov. 2:2. So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
Prov. 2:3. Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
Prov. 2:4. If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Prov. 2:5. Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
Prov. 2:6. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
