The Path of Salvation as given by Paul the Apostle in the Epistle to the Romans

SALVATION IS BY FAITH

1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
1:17  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

THE GENTILE CONDEMNED

1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

THE MORALIST CONDEMNED

2:12  For as many as have sinned without law {the revealed law} shall also perish without law {the revealed law}: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

THE RELIGIOUS CONDEMNED

2:24  For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you …

ALL MEN CONDEMNED

3:10  As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one:
3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

RIGHTEOUSNESS DESCRIBED

3:28  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. {either natural or revealed law}

4:2  For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
4:11  And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised:

THE SOURCE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10:10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

WHAT DOES GOD EXPECT OF BELIEVERS?

12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
12:2  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
12:6  Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: …
12:10  Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love …
